James Morrow is an Executive Director and Senior Investment Adviser at Evans & Partners, serving with the company since 2010. With a dual role, he is a vital contributor to both the Investment Committee (IC) and the Product Review Group (PRG) at Evans & Partners.

As secretary and an alternate voting member of the Investment Committee, James actively guides the firm’s investment management approach. He contributes to designing the investment framework, developing investment principles and policy, and setting asset allocation and risk parameters. Additionally, James plays a key role in approving investment products.

As part of the Product Review Group, James assesses investment products and provides recommendations to the Investment Committee for the Approved Product and High Conviction Lists. His responsibilities involve engaging with fund managers and product providers to explore new investment opportunities. Through in-depth analysis, James identifies quality managers and offers portfolio construction guidance to the firm’s network of advisers.

James also applies his investment expertise to provide advice to private investment clients across the high net worth and not for profit spaces. He takes pride in navigating the ever-changing market dynamics to find quality opportunities and contributes to the development of the firm’s intellectual property.

James holds a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Studies and Finance, majoring in Corporate Finance and Investment Management from the Australian National University. Accredited by the Stockbrokers Association of Australia, he is authorized to provide advice on securities and managed investments. He has further expanded his knowledge with a Master’s degree in Applied Finance from Kaplan Professional Australia.
