Matthew is a Senior Investment Adviser at Evans and Partners, bringing extensive experience advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families across complex, bespoke investment portfolios. He deliberately works with a focused number of families, ensuring every relationship receives the depth of attention it deserves.
Matthew takes a first-principles approach to advice, treating each client’s circumstances as unique and building portfolios that genuinely reflect this. By understanding the full picture across financial, personal and intergenerational considerations, he ensures the advice he delivers is both rigorous and deeply tailored.
His career spans senior adviser roles at NAB, Citi, Macquarie, Perpetual and ANZ, alongside earlier experience at KPMG. That grounding in accounting, combined with decades of private wealth experience, gives him a distinctive edge when navigating the complex financial and structural needs of wealthy families.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Master of Financial Planning, and is currently completing a Juris Doctor of Law at the University of Sydney. He is also a Chartered Accountant and Certified Financial Planner.
Outside of work, Matthew serves on a not-for-profit board and is a keen tennis player, having previously competed at NCAA Division I varsity level in the United States.
