Michael joined Evans and Partners as an Investment Adviser in 2011 and manages the investment affairs of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families, individuals and not-for-profit organisations. He has more than 19 years’ experience in investment markets, spanning advisory and investment research roles.

Prior to joining Evans and Partners, Michael worked at Perpetual Limited as a research analyst focusing on all asset classes, before specialising in direct equities. He earlier worked at Goldman Sachs JBWere as an associate adviser.

In his current role, Michael fosters deep relationships with his clients. This begins with a thorough understanding of their individual circumstances relevant to growing and managing their wealth as well as their day-to-day financial needs. Importantly, he prioritises properly understanding where each of his clients sit on the trade-off between risk tolerance and return expectation.

Michael’s clients come from a range of professional and business backgrounds and he treats his role in their lives as long-term and multi-generational.

He has a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Sydney and is a CFA Charterholder.

Michael completed the FASEA Financial Adviser Exam in May 2021.

Michael lives in Sydney with his wife Tory and their three children Hamish, Jack and Eloise.
