Rose Burbury
Director - Responsible Investment, Chief Investment OfficeRose is a responsible investment specialist with close to a decade of experience across sustainable finance, real economy decarbonisation and climate transition policy in Australia and the United Kingdom. As part of E&P’s Chief Investment Office, Rose works closely with our Investment Advisers to help private clients, family offices and not-for-profit organisations define and execute on their responsible investment goals. She brings technical depth, global perspective and a pragmatic, evidence-led approach to every engagement.
Rose joined E&P in 2026 from KPMG, where she worked across the firm’s Australian and UK practices – most recently spending three years in London advising global asset owners, asset managers and private equity firms on integrating sustainability and climate into investment strategy. Earlier, with KPMG Australia, Rose advised ASX-listed corporates on real-economy decarbonisation and worked extensively across state and federal governments on climate and economic transition policy – including a long-term secondment into BHP’s Global Sustainability and Public Policy team.
Rose holds a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) from the University of Melbourne, with executive education from the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge.
