Ishara Rupasinghe has been with the firm since 2007 and is a director of the family wealth management team in Canberra. As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Ishara has specialist knowledge in a range of strategic financial advice areas including pre- and post-retirement planning, superannuation and SMSFs, tax-effective wealth building and defined benefit super schemes.

She is also experienced as a media commentator, having featured as a personal finance expert on national TV, radio and print media.

Prior to her tenure at Evans and Partners, Ishara worked for the Commonwealth Public Service in the Department of Finance and Deregulation and the Department of Defence.

Ishara holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours and a Bachelor of Commerce from the Australian National University. Post-graduate qualifications include a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning from Kaplan Professional Australia and a Certified Financial Planner® accreditation from the Financial Planning Association. She also completed the FASEA Financial Adviser Exam in September 2020.
